Dr. Lawrence Seiden

Dr. Seiden received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the State University of New York, University at Stony Brook. He holds a Master of Science degree in physiology from Georgetown University and a medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore and his residency in neurology at the University of Maryland Medical System. Following a 2-year fellowship at the University of Maryland in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy, he remained on faculty at the University of Maryland Epilepsy Center where he was director of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.

Dr. Seiden is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of a number of professional organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology and the American Epilepsy Society. He is a fellow of the American Epilepsy Society and currently the Chair of the Professional Advisory Board of the Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia. He is actively engaged in the development and advancement of newer anti-seizure medications.

His primary clinical interest in the evaluation and management of Epilepsy and Seizures, but he also evaluates and manages a wide array of other neurological disorders as well.
